Ways of God Ep 1
By Apostle Nimrod Dande
When God opens Himself to us, He gives us the liberty to know that which is of Him. As a result, men begin to align with the ways the Lord has provided. When a man begins to walk in the ways of God, it reveals the extent to which that man knows God.
For the ways of God no man can truly know them unless he knows God Himself. The depth of a man’s relationship with God is reflected in how he walks with Him. You cannot claim to know the ways of God without first knowing God. So, the extent to which a man understands and walks in God’s ways reveals how well he knows God.
You don’t truly know God until His ways are known to you. And if His ways are to be known, then a man must willingly commit himself to understanding who God is. For example, you can’t say, “I know the ways of my people,” yet you don’t know your people. But to genuinely know the ways of your people, you must first know them. The same principle applies: you don’t know the ways of God unless you first know God. It’s that simple.
When a man willingly decides to walk in the ways of God, he makes a decision of great significance. Because the ways of God are not merely directions or guidance they are His character. To walk in God’s ways is to flow in His character, His nature, His attitude, and the way He functions.
But how can a man know the character of God unless he knows God Himself? Until you know Him, you cannot know how He operates. And that’s why this ministry is committed not just to inspiring you, but to maturing you in God so that you can provoke spiritual conversations and experiences with Him on your own. That is the beauty of spiritual growth: not needing a middleman to access God’s presence. You can open that realm yourself.
The days of middlemen are over. In the past, men like Moses and the prophets stood in the gap between God and His people they were the conduits through which people accessed God. But Jesus came and abolished that system of intermediaries. Now, you can access God directly, at will.
This means you have both the ability and the responsibility to engage with God intentionally. The beauty of spiritual maturity is this: I no longer need someone to mediate for me I can access God and the dimensions of His Spirit myself.
However, you must understand that the same way you can access God directly is also the same way you can access the dimensions and mysteries of the Spirit directly. But with that access comes responsibility and wisdom. Because what may seem to be a divine mystery could also, if mishandled, become a gateway to darkness.
It’s possible to access a mystery and sustain something in the spirit, yet that very thing, if not approached with wisdom, can lead you into darkness. Instead of feeding on light, you may begin to feed on darkness while still professing to follow Jesus.
In such situations, God does not necessarily intervene to pull you out because you willingly chose to enter that realm. That is why discernment and maturity are crucial as you grow in your relationship with God and engage with spiritual realities.
